I went grocery shopping last night. As I was leaving the store I saw a Blockbuster Kiosk and I thought I'd better see if they have the Black Swan in stock. Ding Ding Ding! So I went home made dinner, put the movie in and watched.
The movie, whitout spoiling it, is about a ballet dancer that dances in New York at the Lincoln Center. She (Natalie Portman) is meek, beautiful & dances perfectly. She ends up getting the leading role in Swan Lake. Her director, in the movie, thinks she is a brillant dancer but he knows that she lacks the sexy, sleek side to play the black swan as she portrays the white swan so beauitfly. Sounds innocent enough? Add blood, sex, murder and obession and you have the Black Swan.
