Halloween time approaches and it does not seem complete until I visit Thrillvania. Thrillvania houses eight haunted attractions in East Texas. The crowning piece is Haunted Verdun Manor, a two story antibellum mansion surrounded by a foggy marsh with its own dragon that breaths fire! Every thing that I just wrote is true. You have to make your way up to the house by crossing an over grown marsh and bridge. When you start making your way across the bridge this is when you are greeted by a dragon that breaths fire in your face. Thrillvania uses lots and lots a pyrotechnics which adds to the effect. A creppy fog hovers over the grounds, hose misters that are planted carefully, makes this look like something out of the scary movies. I really like the attention to detail they have put in this place. The attraction is so great that it made it on the Travel Channel! This is your new blog post.
