Behind the Curtain
Ocean Isle Beach
Well I had a great time on my beach vacation. It involved two bad sunburns, several naps, a wedding, tickets for Medieval Times, Legends in Concert, a stir fry buffet, and screaming babies on the plane. Overall I had a great time and look forward to my next time off. Below is a picture from a place at Myrtle Beach called Broadway at the Beach. It's really a bunch of shops and restaurants and a few places to spend your money. This place was called Wonder Works, I had no idea what it was but the building was really neat.
So my vacation starts today as you have been reading. Dallas is sunny, hot, lounge by the pool kinda of a day. Well I am flying into rainy, yucky, nasty, rainy beach. Let's be optimistic, I'm not, and let's say tomorrow will be a beautiful day.
I thought this day would never get here. I go on vacation tomorrow. And I mean a real vacation that involves sand, water, sunscreen and a wedding will be in this mix. I leave tomorrow and will be gone a week. This week will feel like a month because the last time I took vacation was September 2008. Let the good times begin!
My blog is all about the design process, design in general (mainly set design),designers I love and architecture. Take a look behind the curtain!
