Went to Highland Park Village Movie Theatre to watch Olympus Has Fallen. This movie theatre is super swanky. I went years ago to watch a documentary and was shocked to see that they gutted the place out and installed private viewing rooms, a small bar, and a restaurant. The viewing room I sat in had leather seats that rocked and sat a maximum of 16 guests. Can't wait to go back. Check it out. www.hpvillagetheatre.com

Went to the Dallas World Aquarium today. If you live here you should go, it's amazing! It's like being in a rain forest, some of the animals are not in cages. You see birds flying around, monkeys not in cages, and a couple of sloths in just hanging out in a tree! Admissions is $20 per person and $12.95 for kids. Check out the official website at www.dwazoo.com. Soo proud of my Director and Producer! They work around the clock and put in blood, sweat and tears. Read the feature article in Theatre Jones.
How Jeff Swearingen and Bren Rapp are taking a new approach to children's theater (Mamet, anyone?) with their Fun House Theatre and Film. by Mark Lowry published Thursday, May 9, 2013 For Fun House, Swearingen has adapted Dracula into Dracula—A Haunted Tale of Dating, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved The Little Prince into the sweet Laughter in the Stars. Most ambitiously, in February Fun House presented a surprisingly good Hamlet with youth actors. Scoff not. It may not have been anyone’s definition of a definitive Hamlet, but for such a bear of a play, the young actors—Hamlet was played by 15-year-old Chris Rodenbaugh—did a more than admirable job with the language and character development.
