The sequal to The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, has now been playing in Australia for a couple of months now to steller reviews. The original production (London) has been shut down because of poor ticket sales, poor story plot and mixed reviews. The newest production in Melborn has gotten a visial makeover, as well as changing the story and moving some of the music around. What makes this kinda sad it that their is not any advancement to remount this back in London or on Broadway. The buzz on the street is that it will be coming to Broadway but it was already suppost to have been her a year or so ago. You can look forward to a DVD copy of the show in the next few months. The show will be recorded on September the 15th. I would really love to see this show as The Phantom of the Opera is what got me wanting to design sets.
