Mikado Model Almost Finished!
The work I have left to do on the model, to the right, is make the Japanese bride and two platforms. In this theatre most everyone can see the floor as it's stadium-ish seating. For grins, I thought about cutting out the silhouettes of audience members and placing them in the first three rows to get the full effect. If I have time I will do it! It's now time to get the drafting board ready to draft up plans. You know, I preferred making the model first. I was able to solve some mistakes that could have been made during the build. Some sizes I liked and other sizes I am going to change in the drafting plans.
My blog is all about the design process, design in general (mainly set design),designers I love and architecture. Take a look behind the curtain!
