Reviews
"Joseph Cummings added to the vibe with an impressive set design that depicted a sort of underbelly of The Oberon Theater that audiences don’t see. The vast use of space worked to envelop the actors and the audience into the story. Cummings’ subtle touches like the floor lights and architectural elements completed the look of the vintage theater."

"I did love the false proscenium created for the Oberon Playhouse"

Synopsis
Set during World War II, Into the Breeches! is a heartwarming and comedic play by George Brant. The story follows a group of women in Irving, Texas who band together to save their local theater while the men are away at war. With determination and creativity, they take on the ambitious task of staging Shakespeare’s Henriad—all without their usual male cast and director. As they step "into the breeches," they break barriers, discover hidden talents, and redefine their roles both onstage and in their community. It’s a funny, touching celebration of collaboration, courage, and the transformative power of the arts.
