So I worked on a set design today. And by that I mean the set design was conceived and finished is five hours and turned out really well. It was the fastest design I have ever worked on. I don't think I could have worked on this if I had not worked with my friend Ryan, so at this time I would like to say "Thank you Ryan". As the designer you must plot, plan, measure, and make sure you give the very best set possible, stay within budget and to do all of this in a short amount of time was amazing. Below is a sneak peek of the five hour set.

This July the national touring production of Peter Pan is on its way to The Dallas Summer Musicals. I have see Phantom 5-6 times, Wicked twice, The Crucible 17ish times, Noises Off 4 times, these are just some of the shows I have seen multiple times. I have never seen Peter Pan, ever. As soon as tickets I will book my ticket to Neverland. Can't wait to see the sets, pirate ship, and everyone fly. I think for this show I want to set further back from the stage so I don't some of the stage magic. Well, I was promoted at at work which explains not very many blog posts. I have been giving it my all and when I get into the swing of things I can continue my normal postings. What do I do for my day time job? I supervise a luxury spa in Dallas, Texas. Very different from designing stage scenery, I have to make sure the spa is staged for clients coming in. Once upon a time Mr. Jimmy Fallon visited unexpected!
