My Pillow Talk set has been taken apart today.  Tomorrow the furniture will be doled back out to where it came from.   It's the final day of this project.  You kind of get attached, I mean I have been working on this show from start to finish since the end of July and tomorrow will be Halloween.  

From earlier posts you know that I am really excited about the new haunted mansion ride, Mystic Manor, at Hong Kong Disneyland.  It is confirmed that Danny Elfman will be compsoing the music for the ride!  I would say I can't wait to go but the chances that I will be going to Hong Kong is very slim, so slim that I will have to ride the ride via the internet.

I carved a pumpkin at 6am this morning!  My work is holding a pumpkin carving contest and I am taking this very seriously, as I should.  I don't enter a contest unless I know I will win.  We will find out tomrrow who wins.  Below is the pumpkin I carved, can you tell who it is?

Monday, Halloween, is strike for Pillow Talk, this means I have to return the furniture I borrowed or stole for the show.  This strike needs to be lightning quick, I have pumpkins to carve and cider to make.

So I have been internet diving to find more on the Mystic Manor haunted attraction.  I was just reading, this can't be confirmed, that Danny Elfman will be  creating a special score for this ride!  My three favorite things, a haunted house ride, Disney, and Danny Elfman, rolled into one.  If you do not know who Danny Elfman is he created memerable scores from such movies as Batman Returns, Edward Scissor Hands, Spiderman, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sleepy Hollow and so much more.  Below is an artist rendering of Mystic Point.   I have to go now.

Can you guess what the model is above?!  If you guessed a house you are correct.  The other answer is very exciting, it's a new mansion ride at Disneyland! I was trying to find more information on the Disney haunted attractions as you read from earlier posts from this past week.  I came across this house through a picture search and when I saw Disney's name attached to it I knew what this was.  Hong Kong Disney does not have a haunted mansion ride, but this is a all new attraction.  The name of this ride is called Mystic Manor and it's in a new land called Mystic Point, get to experience "mysterious forces and supernatural events in the heart of a dense, uncharted rain forest" according to legend (and the Disney press release). Mystic Manor comes alive thanks to a mischievous monkey and an enchanted box (a deadly combination), and guests are shown through the effects and features via a trackless ride system. Guests can also walk through a garden of relics and mythological figures and dine at the Explorer's Club.  So, who wants to take me?

I have been taking it easy this past week which entailed going to The State Fair of Texas with my mom.  I somehow remember where everything is at, foodwise that is.  I ate Jack's french fries with ranch and pepper, deepfried frito pie with salsa, deepfried oreo cookies, deepfried peaches, yum, a fresh squeezed lemonade, and a funnel cake completed this 20,000 calorie day diet.  Yes, I did not feel good later, I also had an Itilian dinner with my family that night. 

One of the things that I ride every year I go is the silly illusion house ride pictured below.  I have been standing inline year after year for 20 years.  This ride, other than this year, has remained the same since I was a small kid.  This ride has slightly changed themes to be more spooky this year than in the past.  Two people jumped out and said boo or I think rar!  Some tlc needs to be given to keep it up, I don't think they have ever painted the outside, maybe I could help redesign some of the scenes?!
