Pick up two drops for Phantom 25 miles away Stop by the Irving Arts Center and see how the projector is coming along A picture of the unfinished staircase in my current show, Phantom (The Maury Yeston version). Thank you Dane for constructing a beautiful staircase. (Dane is pictured below standing in the middle.) Color of the step unit, black with gold flecks and marbled veining. Below is the model for the stair unit. The designed changed a bit from pictured below. The balustrades have not been placed on yet. Only in the theatre do you have castered stairs that move and turn into a larger staircase.
Not only did I design the Phantom set I got to be in the shoot today too! I was killed. :( After I died I helped with one of the scenes being shot. Thank you Chuck and Nate!
These images are super rough first drafts of what some of the projections will look like in my current production of Phantom.
