I am working on the show Bowing Boeing yet again! This will mark the third time I have worked on this production. The first time was the assistant to the set designer, the second was set designer for a college, and now again set designer for a local company. What's interesting is how different they look based on the space. At the college we were in a small studio space that sat about 85 people. The finishing details had to be spot on as the audience was practically sitting in the living room with the characters. This new production will be performed in a larger proscenium space with 300 seats. My new design is needs to fill up the space while looking a little more presentational. Below is a model of the show. Come back and see how the finished product will look once installed. Boeing Boeing Model for Main Stage Irving Las Colinas |
