The other day I was in Fort Wort, Texas, that's about 30-35 minutes ish from Dallas for those of you that don't live here. It's a much smaller city than Dallas but worth going to spend a day their. Very seldom do I go but every time I do I spend the day walking around admiring the architecture. Fort Worth is home to the Kimball Art Museum designed by renowned architect Louis Kahn. Enjoy looking at a few pictures I snapped with my phone. Oh, I really love that ceiling below. Click on a picture to enlarge.

I took a little design break but I'm back. Upcoming design projects next year include The 16th Annual Column Awards and a big summer musical, Curtains. I will keep you posted on my design process.
Taking a break for a long time! I need to recharge my battery.
For the first time ever I have two shows playing in two different cities! Catch Phantom in Irving, Texas at the Irving Arts Center and Legally Blonde in Denton, Texas at the Campus Theatre.

Never heard of it? Perhaps that’s because Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein opened a week later on Broadway. Frankenstein closed little more than a month later. Young Frankenstein continued for more than a year and launched two national tours. Why does one show seize the imagination and another slip from view? Is it talent? Timing? Or does it tell us something about the audience? Dallas-Fort Worth theater fans can examine that question over overlapping musical versions of two musicals adapted from the 1910 Phantom of the Opera novel by Gaston Leroux. There’s the hotly awaited new national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, with bells, whistles and chandelier, which opens Wednesday at the Winspear Opera House at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Then there’s the MainStage Irving-Las Colinas community theater production of the Maury Yeston Phantom, which concludes its run at Irving Arts Center Aug. 9. Click here to read more. Listen to the Podcast of what some of the critics thought about Phantom. I am so excited to take the backstage tour of the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera. I will get to see the set up close including the newly redesigned chandelier with John Garcia, thanks John! These costumes from #PhantomUSTour are on display in the lobby of @OneArtsPlaza in Dallas now until Aug 23!
