Pre Internet

I managed to pick up a copy of a paperback book called 'Best Seat in the House' circa 1985, pre internet.  It listed all of the current theatre layouts in the Dallas Fort Worth area.  

Lets say you picked up a newspaper and saw a play that you wanted to see.  Well how do you know where your seat is located, where is seat 23 row A?! This book helps you pick out your seat and see how close you are to the stage.  You find the theatre your attending, you look at the chart from the book, you call the number in the newspaper or phone book, you talk to the person on the phone, pre order your ticket, pick your ticket up at will call...paying with cash or check only and TA DA it's as simple as that!  The book even goes as far as telling you if they have valet parking or not, and what type of concessions they have.
