Strange Props

This is the time of year where any set designer needs to stock up on props and or set dressing specialties.  That's because it's Halloween season and this season is where finding cobwebs, gossamer's lace, bats and trick pictures that change right in front of you are super easy to find.  

You can still locate these things but it is much more difficult to do so.  You just never know what strange prop or set dressing list you will bump into down the road. 

A few years ago I bought a creepy bust of Dracula and Medusa for just a few dollars on clearance and now they are making their  stage debut.  These props will be the few pieces on stage that will give the design an extra umph.
